Terms of Use

Last updated September 15, 2026

These terms are between you and Hi Mom for the iPhone app. Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

What Hi Mom does

Hi Mom uses Apple Screen Time to block apps you choose until this iPhone reports that you sent a text to the contact you picked.

We cannot see the text. You pick the contact. You are responsible for that person and for what you send.

You create an account after you buy, with email or Sign in with Apple. A new phone can Restore purchases on the paywall, then sign in.

The lock

The lock only works if you allow Screen Time / Family Controls. If you turn that off, the lock stops.

Hi Mom locks apps on this iPhone. It is not parental control of someone else’s phone.

The lock depends on Apple Screen Time and Messages. If those change, Hi Mom may stop working the way this page describes.

Subscription

Hi Mom Pro is an auto-renewing subscription. Weekly and yearly plans unlock the same lock. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you buy.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless you turn auto-renew off at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Unused time from a free trial, if any, is forfeited when you buy. Restore purchases is on the paywall and in Settings.

Apple collects payment. We cannot refund an Apple charge. Use Apple for billing issues.

Do not use Hi Mom to harass anyone. Do not pick a number you should not text.

Help

Billing is Apple. Cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. For the app, use Report a Problem on the App Store, or Settings in Hi Mom.
