Hi Mom is an iPhone app that locks apps you choose until you send a real iMessage to someone you pick. Setup and the lock live on this iPhone. After you buy Hi Mom Pro, you save it to an account so a new phone can pick it up.

Who we are

Hi Mom. We make this iPhone app.

What stays on this iPhone

The list of apps you lock never leaves this phone. Apple Screen Time keeps those tokens on device.

Local reminders stay on device. The phone number you picked is saved in the iPhone keychain so Messages can open to the right person.

We do not read your messages. Unlock uses this iPhone reporting that a text was sent.

What we see

If you create an account, we store the email you use (or the private relay Apple gives us if you use Sign in with Apple), the contact name and phone number you picked, and your lock schedule. That is so a new phone can pick the setup up.

Apple and RevenueCat tell us whether Hi Mom Pro is active, the product you bought, and when it expires. We do not see your card.

We do not sell this. We do not use it for ads. We do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Who else sees something

Apple: App Store billing and Screen Time.

RevenueCat: whether you paid, so the lock can turn on after a purchase.

Account

After you buy, you save Hi Mom to an account. Settings has Delete account. That removes your Hi Mom data from our servers and revokes Sign in with Apple if you used it. It does not cancel Apple billing. Cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

Delete account in Settings if you want your Hi Mom data removed from our servers.

Children

Hi Mom is not meant for children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we update the date at the top.
